My week 8 teacher lesson

Today the scales learnt how to do equivalent fractions. We had thought of a random fraction and we thought of the fraction 2/4. As we were thinking what was the equivalent fraction for 2/4 we all said 1/2 because 2/4 is 1/2 of 4. My week 9 problem solving

Walt: solve multiplication problems using a range of strategies.

We have been practicing out fractions. We get a problem that envoles fractions and we try to work it out.
The denominator is the bottom number witch tells you how many pieces there are altogether. The numerator is the top number witch tells you how many pieces you have. So the bigger the denominator the smaller amount you get.
