MY board game brainstorm

Walt: write effective paragraphs.



This is my planning for game. Literacy class 6 has been brainstorming on games. We have thought of our theme for our background and the rules for the game. The blue is for the rules and the red is for the theme or designs.

Hokey pokey's amazing sport's day

Walt: research and work collaboratively.
We have been doing a presentation about hokey pokey's sports day. We have researched and figured out the sport we picked. Hokey pokey's and I choose different sports, and explained how to win and what to do.  Also we asked each other and gave comments about there writing. 

The Christchurch earthquake

Walt: find proof of the authors message. Interview Story: The Christchurch earthquake Character: Georgina Georgina is 20 years old. She likes science, computers and reading books. What are your thoughts about the earthquake in christchurch in 2011? I feel horrible because of all the people who died. I do not like earthquake. What would it mean to you if you had an earthquake in your city? It would mean the end of my life and others. This would not what anyone would expect. How would you act in an earthquake? I would follow the earthquake rules by: Dropping on the ground, taking cover then holding on tight to a steady table or desk. We are writing about the earthquake in Christchurch. We are writing an interview and asking questions.

Walt: identify the main point of the text.

My literacy class and I had each made a poster about games and what Console you play it on. 
We had to follow the instructions so we knew what and how we have to do it. We had to name the console and the company then the games.

About my group name

Walt: follow the  instructions, and complete the task.




My group and I have been learning about what our group name means and what it is. We have found information as we searched online. I had found a great piece of information and that was that in the 1920s the real recipe was made then.  Information is interesting.

Application to be an ambassador for 2015

At Pt England school we learnt how to learn, create and share in our class. Learning, creating and sharing is good because it helps teach other people what we have learnt.

Learn

In our class we learn about new things that we never knew. Learning is important because you can learn from reading a book. If we make a mistake we can always learn from them. 

This term in Class 7 we have been learning about writing detailed paragraphs.

Create

My class and I have created things to share our learning.
For one lesson we all wrote 1 sentence about a picture and chose the best one. Then wrote our own sentences to add to the main idea.

Share

I shared my finished space story of 3 paragraphs and posted it here on my blog. I am not the only one who shares, everyone does. I share my garage band music with my music teacher.
