How our muscles work

You are probably thinking now how our muscles need to work, what makes them function. Your journey starts here. Read on for more about “How our MUSCLES work.”

The way our muscles work is that our Tendons are cords made of tough tissue, they work as special connector pieces between bone and muscle. The tendons are attached so well that when you contract one of your muscles, the tendon and bone move along with it. Skeletal muscles come in many different sizes and shapes to allow them to do many types of jobs.

Did you know you have more than 600 muscles in your body? They do everything from pumping blood throughout your body to helping you lift your heavy backpack. You control some of your muscles, while others like your heart do their jobs without you thinking about them at all.
The strong and prolonged contraction of a muscle during exercise causes sooner or later muscle fatigue. Fatigue increases while the glycogen stored in the muscles decreases. Muscle fatigue is something you get often when you exercise.
So that is how our muscles work and what it takes and needs to function. Click here to check out more information about how our muscles work
