Running on water basketball was invented in Auckland NZ by a man and his name was George in 2009. His aim of the game was to run as fast as you can to shot the ball in the basketball hoop.
George had already sorted out his equipment and they are waterproof shoes, swimsuits, 1 ball and 2 hoops.
He needed a surface on both sides, cones around the edge and the space had to be as big as the reserve.
There had to be 25 players per team and the positions were center , power forward, small forward, point guard and shooting guard. George’s rules are simple there are no pushing, no tripping, no double dribble, start with a pass and if the ball goes out it’s the other teams ball.
