My superpowers

Walt: write effective paragraphs using juicy and exciting words.

If i had superpowers i would pick the power to freeze time and space. I would use this power so if i was a walking and saw someone fighting at school i could freeze time and separate them. Also to stop time for only a special occasion or something often that has happened at school or elsewhere.

My ability would freeze time, and that if i were to do it i could stop something that shouldn’t happen. What are my ability you ask, it is just freezing  time, or the whole asteroid and orbit. It looks like a little blue orb, and it spreads across the globe, and everything that is dirty disintegrates and dissolves. It feels like a fuzzy thing going up at the back of you and touching
your spine.

I would use my ability to save someone that is in danger and help them so they are safe.
So if someone was in a apartment building ablaze with flames I can freeze the fire (time) and save them, then put the fire out. I could use my powers for a good sake in G.I or some place else instead of the same. I could always rescue people without getting injured.

It would be spectacular to have this ability because it could come in handy or for fun. This power is cool because you would get a different feeling or feel strange. Thinking about this is that it will be an honor to have this ability, then I can be some kind of a help around here.

The task ask us to write effective paragraphs with juicy words. We had to put juicy words with words that make your sentences more effective. We focused on 1 paragraphs and then re-crafting our paragraphs and then shared it with a buddy. We also shared it with everyone and then taking 1 each turn on 1 partners writing first.
We learnt to write effective paragraphs and took 1 each turn on 1 of your partners and re-read it then re-crafted it.
We learnt to put juicy words in and then use thesaurus to look up different words that we could use.

My WK11 problem solving

WALT: Add and subtract mixed numbers with like denominators

I have been learning about fractions and have been solving fraction problems by using addition or subtractions. I solved fractions by using additions. So for example if i had 2 whole pies and gave 1 1/3 i would only have 7/10.

My interesting Mario writing

Walt: write effective paragraphs.

The aim of the game is to dodge the enemies and collect the mushrooms and then to pass every level. you have to collect the mushroom to break the walls and pass through to complete the level you are on now.

Mario is a character in the game called super mario's world. Mario is very small and has a red hat with a red shirt on, mustache, and is italian with also a white M. When he is small he collects mushrooms to grow even bigger. What he normally does is the he jumps a lot to dodge the little bad guys.

How to control mario is to use the arrow keys on the keyboard.
If you want to jump then push the right arrow key, to go forward then push the forward arrow, to go back then press the arrow facing backwards. To jump, you press the arrow that is facing up. Do not hold the forward key to go forward because you might bump into the enemy or fall of the edge.

My thoughts about this Mario game is that it is a little of a boring thing that really you mostly have to jump. I recommend that other people should play to feel how frustrating or cool this game is to them. I dislike this game because you jump a lot and sometimes when you jump it doesn’t work and that is the annoying part to me.

We have been learning to write effective paragraphs and were writing about the game called supper Mario world.
We have search a bit different we played the game instead of searching on Wikipedia.

My teacher lesson week 10

We have been learning about sequence fractions. Sequence means order. If you have the fractions like:
6/13, 7/13, 9/13 and 2/13, then as you see that the denominator is the same all you have to do is to look at the numerator. So it will go like this: 2/13, 6/13,7/13 and then 9/13 only if you were going biggest to smallest or do it the other way around then you will have the smallest to largest.

My WK9 problem solving

Walt: find equivalent fractions.
Today i have been working on my fractions and to understand what equivalent means. Equivalent means that if you have a fraction then you can divide it using the same number. So equivalent means the same as

My week 8 teacher lesson

Today the scales learnt how to do equivalent fractions. We had thought of a random fraction and we thought of the fraction 2/4. As we were thinking what was the equivalent fraction for 2/4 we all said 1/2 because 2/4 is 1/2 of 4. Equivalent stands for same as it tells you the you can half the numerator and the denominator in half with using the same number.

My week 9 problem solving

Walt: solve multiplication problems using a range of strategies.

We have been practicing out fractions. We get a problem that envoles fractions and we try to work it out.
The denominator is the bottom number witch tells you how many pieces there are altogether. The numerator is the top number witch tells you how many pieces you have. So the bigger the denominator the smaller amount you get.

My week 8 problem solving on fractions

Walt:Solve multiplication problems using a range of strategies.

We have been learning our fractions. A fraction has a denominator witch stands for how many pieces there altogether. The numerator is the top number witch stands for how many pieces have been taken away.

MY board game brainstorm

Walt: write effective paragraphs.

This is my planning for game. Literacy class 6 has been brainstorming on games. We have thought of our theme for our background and the rules for the game. The blue is for the rules and the red is for the theme or designs.

My teacher lesson fraction solving

In fractions we learned that the denominator is the bottom number that tells how many pieces there are altogether. The numerator is the top number that tells you how many pieces were taken away and left.
So the bigger the denominator the smaller the fractions you get.

My maths problem solving

Walt: understand fractions.

We have been learning to understand fractions and  to solve the problems properly.
Fractions are very hard to understand but when you say that you ate half of the pizza  and have one side left then that's called 1/2.
