CREATIVE SPRING WRITING

Today in class we have been creating a spring paragraph. We had to describe this picture and use the words oak tree in the spring, chill to the air and bright light. Here is my sentence and the other paragraph I added my 2 sentences to it.

In spring there was a slight chill to the air and the oak tree had bright light pouring down on it.

Under a tree, kicked back by the beach from a view, chill going down your spine, the bright sun light on you.:l
Feeling relaxed in the chilly air rising up your spine
Under the oak tree lime leaves dropping and landing softly on your skin.

Auckland museum

Yesterday class 6,7 also 8 went on a trip to the  Auckland museum. It had Huge fields but so steep you could even roll down them real fast also running.

We got to look at what Maori people in the olden days used to collect food with.We also looked at what the tools were called.

Each of us had received a card that had a type of kai picture on it. Class 7,8 and 6 had been taken to a Marae as a host and a visitor. We had five minutes to explore.

Class 7,8,6 and I had alot of fun at the Auckland Museum. Everyone’s best thing at the museum is the earthquake house. So then we went back on the bus and came back to school.

  1. Everyone gasp because The whale is going to take a deep dive.

  1. The story of Paikea is retold because people will know that whales are not our  enemy.

  1. Joe now does whale watching because their were only a few whales left.

  1. Whaling stopped in 1964 because whales were almost extinct and there were only a few.
I have been reading about sperm whales and how the communicate. Sperm whales can communicate with clicking noises and how to find it's prey. My thoughts on whaling is that it is really sad because we are just harming a whale that is harmful.
